A Happy Day for Piyal: JTS’s 3rd Relief in Sri Lanka
JTS provided rice to 1,000 vulnerable households in Sri Lanka. Each family received enough rice to feed a family of four for 20 days.
JTS has been conducting various relief activities in Sri Lanka to support families in need, who continue to struggle daily due to economic hardship and natural disasters since the national debt crisis.
Mr. Piyal, a local volunteer, was directly involved in the rice distribution activities. He reported on the impact JTS’s work had on his village and expressed his heartfelt gratitude.
