The hungry should be fed, the sick should be treated, and the children should be educated are the three main principles of Join Together Society(JTS), an international relief organization that has been granted Special Consultative Status by the UN ECOSOC. The JTS_BCA Student Club, located in New Jersey’s Bergen County Academy, was established in the fall of 2014 after receiving approval from their school and JTS America. The student club has been actively involved in promoting JTS and in fund raising for JTS relief work. The students have made fliers and promotional materials about JTS activities helping people around the world including those in India and the Philippines and have raised funds through bake sales and street fundraising. They have also knitted scarves, hats, and gloves which were sent to the students of Sujata Academy, a school established by JTS in India for the the destitute in 1993.
