Preschool building is under renovation

The preschool building of Sujata Academy is under renovation while preschoolers stay at home due to COVID-19. Technicians are repairing old and damaged facilities. We still have much work to do including repairing the roof, painting hanging boards, repairing chairs and blackboards, and repairing walls damaged by rainstorms. We will continue working for children to study in a safer and more comfortable environment.

JTS Philippines is building six classrooms* including a restroom and houses for teachers at Midlutong to provide a better environment for education at Midlutong, Macalimban, and Datu Ponso. It has been challenging to continue construction due to the COVID-19 lockdown since construction started in last February, but we are still working hard to complete it by October.

Save the earth with multicultural families

We cleaned streets with volunteers and multicultural families at the Ansan JTS Multicultural Center on a beautiful day in May. We felt uncomfortable when we saw piles of unorganized garbage in the streets near the Center. As there have been suggestions of cleaning up, we cleaned the streets near the Ansan station with volunteers of the Center and multicultural families from Russia, Peru, and Cambodia.
