School Completion Ceremony and Opening Anniversary
On October 9, 2024, a completion ceremony was held for a newly constructed school that replaced one destroyed by the Türkiye-Syria earthquake, followed by an opening ceremony marking the start of the first class. Built to provide education for Syrian refugee children, this Khalid ibn al-Walid School took a full year to complete. The building consists of one underground floor and three above-ground floors, with a total of 122 rooms. Among them, 52 are classrooms, while the rest include science labs, a library, conference rooms, and various educational spaces.
