Providing School Supplies and Uniforms to Schools in Mindanao
Unlike in Korea, where all the students can easily get their own supplies, school supplies are precious in the remote and sparsely populated villages of Mindanao Island,. JTS provided school supplies to 17 schools, including 4 newly constructed schools and schools that are under 5 years old, and provided uniforms to 23 schools, including those in Damulog.

Building New Schools for Natives in Mindanao
JTS completed construction for a new school for the native children of Mindanao Island. In 2018, JTS has built four schools in Mindanao despite obstacles like rough roads in the village of Oji and difficulty in transporting raw materials.

| Emergency Relief in Indonesia
In September 2018, there was a 7.5 magnitude earthquake in the oceanside area of Palu and Dongala. A tsunami also hit the town shortly thereafter leaving a death toll of 2200 and over 70,000 victims. In December of the same year, to help the earthquake victims and children, JTS sent tents, blankets, 25kg rice packages, 16 piece kitchen utensils, and T-shirts to 3000 families in 16 villages. |
Providing Food Packages to Hungry Children
During school breaks, underprivileged children (ages 5-13) worry about where their next meal is coming from. To help these children, JTS began a “Feed the Hungry Children” program, which has continued for five years. In 2018, 187 children from 12 areas applied to the meal program. After looking over the applications, JTS provided nutritional food packages to all the applicants.
