Everyone is suffering due to COVID-19.

Some people, however, suffer more than others.

Healthcare workers exhausted from the long battle against COVID-19, multicultural families who lost jobs, and less developed countries with poor medical infrastructure.

Some people desperately need help.

JTS will always be with them.

We deeply appreciate your interest and support.

Small gifts to children at Sujata Academy

We stored popped rice and roasted beans, which were meant to be provided to preschoolers every Monday, for more than a month due to school closure. We decided to share them with children who reside near the school, since the supply of food is insufficient in this area. Some children were wandering around the school gate, because they felt shy about coming back to school after a long break. Children who came to the school looked happy. Everyone was dressed up to come to school.

The children who received a sack of food looked excited. The senior students who were giving the food also looked happy. We still have several bags of food at the storage although we gave a lot away to all the children in two villages. We hope that we can give the food to the children in the other thirteen villages when the pandemic ends.

JTS Philippines provided emergency medical equipment

JTS Philippines provided personal protective equipment worth 11,500,000 KRW (500,000 PHP) to healthcare workers at Northern Mindanao Medical Center, which led the fight against COVID-19 on April 21, 2020. We provided 400 protective gowns, 200 goggles, and 3000 surgical masks on April 21. We plan to provide 300 N95 masks next week.

Provided blankets and meal packages to the seniors in Jongno-gu

JTS provided blankets and packages of food and hygiene products to 20 seniors at Changsin-dong and Sungin-dong in Jongno-gu. We planned an event to distribute blankets to the seniors with Jo In Sung, an actor. We, however, adjusted the plan to better help the seniors who were suffering due to COVID-19. The packages and blankets are from the hearts of our supporters. We were happy to organize this event to stand with marginalized neighbors. We thank all our supporters.
