In Midlutong, a Muslim village located in Damulog, a school has been under construction

since last February. This is the largest elementary school construction project conducted by

JTS Philippines. The building includes bathrooms for men and women, six classrooms, and

a dormitory for teachers. The school was initially scheduled to be completed in August 2020,

but construction has been delayed due to COVID-19.

Since the school is located near Mulita River, JTS Philippines conducted a safety inspection,

including the risk of flooding, in the early stage of construction. It also conducted a final

safety inspection with the county office and the education office officials. The school is set to

be completed by mid-June.
