March 2021 JTS America Newsletter
Spring came with warm breeze after the harsh winter with cold temperature and the Covid-19. Thanks to our supporters for helping our neighbors during the cold winter. Here are the JTS’s activities during the winter.

We provided personal protective equipment to NMMC, a hospital at Mindanao in Northern Philippines, and 15 public health centers at Bukidnon in November 2020.
These places were lack of medical supplies as the number of Covid-19 patients increased. As they were equipped with additional supplies, they were able to treat patients more safely.

Contactless but warm sharing in a cold winter
We provided the essential packages to 49 seniors in last January for them to stay warm during winter. The packages include food, medicine, household goods, and hygiene products. We delivered the packages with hand written letters. It was a great opportunity to share with our marginalized neighbors.
JTS and the Ven. Pomnyun Sunim delivered rice cakes for Tteokguk that were made of the rice that we produced to the disadvantaged, homeless people, and nursing homes on February 3rd. The Ven. Pomnyun Sunim covered the Southern area, and the JTS activists covered Seoul metropolital area. It was very warm-hearted New Year’s Day since we could share with our neighbors.
